This backyard renovation completely reimagined the outdoor space, blending style and functionality for relaxed, all-season entertaining.

The project began with demolition of the old pergola and paving, followed by earthworks to reshape the levels and create a more dynamic layout. A new lined pergola was installed, featuring integrated fans, heaters, and speakers to provide comfort throughout the year. Beneath it, a custom-built outdoor kitchen includes an island bench with a built-in BBQ, sink, and space for a bar fridge—designed for easy hosting and everyday use.

Honed concrete flooring delivers a sleek, durable finish, while custom-poured concrete steppers, framed by decorative stone, lead through the space with a natural touch. ModWood decking was used to craft stylish stairs and a built-in seating area within a raised garden bed. Rendered and textured walls add depth, and uplighting highlights the pencil pine trees—creating a warm, inviting atmosphere from day to night.
